Inkspirational Update
Too much to go on about, but here's a start. Never a finish.
A bit of an update…
Readers will know of my recent Sherman run here on Substack. I’ve alluded to the fact that there would be more to come.
We are close to heading to print with a long-form profile on Barry Sherman. Aptly, it will run in a premier intellectual magazine based in the good ol’ USA.
I spoke to several of Sherman’s closest comrades for the piece and one commented, after seeing the publication venue, that it was perhaps the only journal Barry Sherman himself would have approved of.
Poetic, I know. Alas, the distortion in some of the press on Sherman has come to the point of angering me at times.
Well, we have tried to do the story and the man justice. It is I think, a very unique deep-dive on the brilliant businessman.
The whole process has been good fun. The impressive editor I am working with was pitched the haphazard and barely formed concept in a very sloppy email ferociously penned by Yours Truly. He showed some interest in hearing more, which I’ll be forever grateful for.
More poetry. It’s true, but I’ll stop.
With that in mind, what next? Always, what next?
